The sun was beating down and it was actually surprisingly warm today. Although spring was here so the weather was changing over. The meadow had flower buds and plants in the midsts of bloom. Aruto strolled carefully along the meadow, watching his steps making sure not to crush any plant life. He cared deeply for the life of the nature around the village. Because with DOS capturing the wildlife to experiment on it almost seemed like sometimes there were fewer animals around. This place always reminded him too much of the villains of the village. Animals played a vital role in DOS' mechanism of how they did things. Aru had learned that especially well when he had worked for them shortly.

Aru spotted a small rabbit run by and he smiled as the creature fled into the distance. It was nice to see wildlife once in a while. The white haired boy yawned and put his hand over his face, blocking out the sun. "It's warm out today.." He muttered to himself. He let himself fall back on the ground, landing on his back. He was laying down on the green grass and as he did his gaze wavered towards the clouded horizon. His eyes seemed to close for a moment as he became very relaxed. The meadow definitely was a nice place to slack off.

FLURR || Aruto Howling

    The council president in the meadow, what a sight to see.  As I walked, eerily quiet, my eyes shifted to watch the sway of white hair blown by the slowly fading breeze.  The crunch of dead grass was underneath my feet, winter had it killed it, but it was slowly growing back.  I avoided the vividly colored flowers, trying not ruin their glory by stepping on them and mashing them to pulp on the sullen ground.  I took a breath of the flowery air.  It was a nice occasion.

    I stopped as soon as I reached the president.  "A nice day indeed," I muttered silently as I looked down at the other boy.  I sat down, my tall poster slouching as I looked over.  "I don't believe we've met.  I'm Rikiya Higuchi, a pleasure."  I held out a bony fingered hand for a shake.  An unpracticed crooked smile graced my face.  I was not a very open person.  Nor was I kind.  I was really nothing.  My power wasn't even that special.

"La~ La~ La~" the raven-haired girl sang as she skipped happily through the meadow. The sun was smiling, the birds were chirping, and the flowers were.... stained with blood? Her eyes widened when she followed the trail of blood to find a dead rabbit. Lachrimae got down on her knees and picked up the rabbit's limp and lifeless body. She lifted her head up when she heard teenager boys laughing. They were loaded with things like slingshots loaded with sharp rocks, knives, BB guns, and other things that could cause harm to an animal or anyone really.

"Nice shot, Kyo!" The boys gave each other high fives and looked around for other small animals to torture. They spotted the girl, looking at each other and grinning. "Looks like we have company, boys~" Kyo sung as he approached Lachrimae with his two friends. Lachrimae looked up at them with those big, innocent looking eyes of hers that sparkled. One of the boys tossed a baseball bat over to Kyo. Kyo caught it and grinned as he looked down at her. "Oh, yeah~ This will be a lot of fun." he said and raised the bat to hit the girl, but Lachrimae just grinned deviously.

[Don't find Lachrimae yet! My next post will be when she goes to find help. I'm going to be putting her acting skills to the test on this one xD]

The student council president opened his eyes and got up, yet got into a sitting position. He put his hands on his knees and yawned. "Mm.." He muttered groggily. He had almost fallen asleep. "Nice to meet you." He extended his arm and gripped the other student's hand in a shake. "I'm Aruto Howling. Most people just call me Aru for short though." He shrugged and gave a small smile. "What brings you out here?" He inquired with a tilt of his head, his white bangs covering his eyes slightly.

"I myself decided to come out here for the view and scenery. DOS simply destroys everything.. So I've learned to appreciate the things this village still has." And I want to protect it too.. He thought solemnly to himself. "I apologize for my rambling." He grinned. He often lost track track of what he went on about.

FLURR || Aruto Howling

    I chuckled lightly.  "If you ramble, I give speeches," I said while pushing up my glasses farther up onto my nose.  I looked upwards into the sky, posture straightening up as I was looking.  My body was undeniably now taller than the president's as I was watching small birds flit across the sky lazily.  I gave a small kitten's yawn as I stretched, my arms were reaching up into the sky as if I wanted to grab the clouds.  "Your smile is as pretty as the weather," I said bluntly and indifferently.  It wasn't a pickup line and had no ulterior motive.  It was the truth, which is what I only spoke.

    "Well, it's quite nice to meet you."

Her bloody hands twitched violently as she gained time. Her gold eye that was hidden underneath her black bangs was actually a clock. Not a real clock in her eye socket but you know what I mean... Anyway, the clock was going counter-clockwise until she gained time so it went back, extending her life span a little bit more. Lachrimae hugged herself and let out a sadistic laugh as she watched Kyo's body tremble in fear. "Y-You're crazy!" he screamed and turned around to go look for someone to save him. There was a target on his back that Lachrimae nailed into him. "Oh dear... I let him get away." she said and let out a sigh. He wants to play dirty, huh? Then so be it.. Lachrimae raised her hand up and yelled, "Angel Zafkiel!" Shadows came down from the sky and formed into two guns just for the girl. The girl grinned and raised her gun up, aiming for the target on the boy's back.

Time passed and Lachrimae was seen at a lake, washing off the blood that had splattered onto her face. "Oh, how troublesome was that Kyo.. But, they all deserved it. They killed that poor rabbit in the ugliest way possible. Torturing it like that! Truly disgusting..." The girl stood up and looked around, wondering what she would have to do next. Lachrimae sighed and changed into her normal school girl form. When her powers activated, she would change into an astral dress with black and crimson red frills and her hair would be put up into two twintails. One of the twintails being shorter than the other. She resembled a Gothic Lolita at the most. But, she did something before she turned back into her school girl form.

Lachrimae wondered around until she found herself back in the meadow where it all started. She turned her head to see two boys in the distance, and she started to run over to them with a worried look on her face. She made herself breathe heavily as if she had been running the whole time, looking for someone to help her. "Please! Somebody help me!" she screamed and a clone of Lachrimae in her other form was chasing after her with two guns in her hands. Lachrimae tripped over her dress on purpose and looked back with a terrified facial expression when she looked up to see the Lachrimae clone pointing a gun to her head. They both knew what they were doing. So what if my clone dies? I have plenty of them to spare.

[They can find out that it was a trick later on, okay? Maybe if Lachrimae decides she wants to kill them for whatever reason I guess xD. Or, they could find out that it was her all long in some other thread.]

He laughed lightly at his compliment. "Hardly, but thanks." He let the wind ruffle his silver-white hair. He calmly closed his eyes. "Today really is a nice da-" "Please! Somebody help me!" He heard someone call. Immediately Aruto rose to his feet and blinked in confusion. "What the hell is this.." He saw a girl run then trip and a girl behind her was pointing a gun at her head. "What the fresh hell do you think you're doing?" He raised a brow. If need be he was ready to reach for his sword but he wanted to understand the situation first. "Don't even think of shooting anyone." He put his hands in his pocket and approached but also kept a good distance.

Aru remembered Ryuuki had told him to start being careful. Why am I listening to Ryu-chi at a time like this.. He thought with a sigh. Giving an innocent soft smile he took a step forward. "Let's not be too hasty now. I'm sure we can work this all out." God I feel like an idiot right now.. Pulling some kind of fake act.. "What is it you want exactly? Surely you aren't after this girl for no good reason, hmm?" He tilted his head.

"Think about what you are doing." He readied himself just in case the situation got out of hand. I'll kick her to the other side of the darn village if she decides to do anything hasty.. Just what in the world is going on.. He tried to keep a hesitant smile.

Aruto Howling || Lachrimae Moonhearth

    I rose up along with Aruto, although my body was quite relaxed as I curled and uncurled my fingers.  I stood to my full height and looked at the other three people around myself.  "Oh my, what a predicament."  A greedy grin slipped onto my face easily as I held out my hands, my soft fair skin tone quickly turning a metalic gray as I contorted the iron in my blood. I gritted my teeth at the pain.  Manipulating my own bloodstream was never that fun.  My muscled arm faded into a sharp katana glistening against the light.  My other arm stayed at my side.  "I can stretch this arm out for you dear.  Would you like a handshake of welcoming?"

    I waved the sword-ified arm in the air at the two look a likes.  Either it was a fight with a twin gone wrong or there was a game being played.  I decided on game, and I wanted to win the prize.

Lachrimae looked up at her clone with wide eyes, and she made herself shake a little as if she was shaking in fear. When the boy took a step forward, Lachrimae's clone was threatening him by playing with the trigger with her finger. But, there was no way she was going to shoot her own self unless it was for a good reason. The goal was to make the boys think the present Lachrimae was innocent. The clone Lachrimae narrowed her eyes at the boy that was trying to sweet talk her into giving in. Lachrimae grew curious when her clone looked like she was about to cry. This wasn't the plan. Keep yourself together, Lachrimae. "I....." she started and gripped the gun tighter.

"I just.... I want to be free from this curse." The clone held back her tears and aimed her gun towards Aru, firing a bullet that flew past his ear. "Consider that a warning shot. Next time I won't take it easy on you. I will shoot you on the spot." She opened up a portal in front of her and stepped in, returning back to the past where she belonged. The portal closed up and would've backfired any attacks if Aru dared to go inside the portal. He would also be transported back into the past, and he could possibly be lost in time forever.

When the shot was fired he made himself stand his ground despite his body wanting to flinch. "Tch... This girl likes playing games." He narrowed his eyes. "Never again will I listen to Ryu-chi's advice on being careful. That crap doesn't work on people." He scoffed. Yet suddenly he went into a fit of laughter. "That girl is a funny one. I've played with death before. Why would I let myself be killed by the likes of her. Doesn't she know it's rude to kill someone you just met?" He grinned. The silver haired boy watched the portal close and shrugged as he walked over to the girl that still remained. The one that appeared to be an initial target. He stood beside her and extended his hand, offering to help her up. He smiled yet his gaze shifted towards where the portal had been. "What did that girl.. want from you exactly? Bounty?" He looked back at the girl.

"No one becomes that violent with someone without initiative. At least that's my opinion." His eyes softened with some concern. She seemed distraught. Obviously he wasn't aware this was all an act. She proved to be a pretty good actor then.

"Are you hurt?" He asked and then looked back at Rikiya. "That's some power you got there."

FLURR || Aruto Howling

    It all ended before and I reluctantly retracted my "claws".  I gritted my teeth as the iron swords reverted back into the human form of flesh.  It was too bad.  I had my eyes set on the prize, but the black haired girl had stolen it as her plan had called for.  I sighed as I looked to Aruto.  "Power?  That's funny because I don't ever remember using these for something useful, other than digging holes," I said, slightly pissed that I was unable to use my handy work today.  I would have honestly enjoyed showing off to these kind people that came to give me a show, I just simply would have returned the favor.

I looked at the tripped up girl with hard amber eyes, the glare on my glasses hiding most of my judging expression.
