Oh, jeez. Where to start? Ethan is a well-built sixteen-year-old boy with a fairly toned athletic body. Standing at five feet and ten inches, he's of average height for a boy his age, although he's somehow convinced that he's an oompa loompa (it's best not to ask - he probably has a height complex or something). He has a messy mop of dark brown hair on his head which falls just above the nape of his neck. Despite having stereotypical masculine interest (sports, video games, etc), the boy has rather feminine physical traits. His long eyelashes, for example, are rather thick and said to be longer than most girls. And despite his toned body, he has a rather slender frame, which causes some people to mistake him for a girl from a distance. It doesn't help that his mother picks out rather bright, vibrant colored clothing for him (I mean, really, when was the last time you saw a guy in a neon pink hoodie?) everyday. Really, it doesn't, and yes, his mother does still pick out his clothing. Ethan is so apathetic to fashion that he'd roll out out of bed and wear nothing but his boxers to school if he could. On the up side, most of the clothing his mother picks out is quite fashionable, so kudos to her for that, I suppose. Still, the clothing really does emphasize his femininity at times. Naturally, he's pretty annoyed with his feminine , but it's not like he can do anything about it (well, there's the option of plastic surgery, but what are the chances that it'll actually happen?). But despite these girlish characteristics, he is still pretty attractive, and he knows this, though he's not arrogant enough to think that he's a living Adonis or something. It's just that it's pretty hard not to notice the gawking stares he gets from his female peers; after a while, he just sort of put the pieces together. But, it's not like he cares the slightest - in fact, he's quite annoyed with all the attention he gets sometimes. He's often seen with a scowl on his face to ward off any admirers, and he slouches quite often, making him seem very unapproachable (which he is) even when he's not trying to be.

personality

As much as his mother would like to say that he's a suave, charming individual, the truth is that Ethan is a lazy and disagreeable freeloader. Despite having an IQ high enough to be considered 'gifted', Ethan doesn't really apply himself. But, don't get me wrong! He can be a very hard working person at times, although he would actually be interested in the task or event at hand to even lift a finger. He's also quite moody at times, too, and is prone to bouts of mood swings. In five seconds flat, he can change moods quicker than a girl can change clothes. In addition, he's quite sarcastic, too, and will make critical remarks about a person when he feels like it. Despite this and his moodiness, however, he expresses trouble dealing with emotions and really doesn't know what to do with himself if someone starts panicking or crying. In all likelihood, he'd end up pushing the person away or making things worse. He's not very sympathetic either, so he's probably not even going to offer a hug or reassurance that things will be okay.

But, this doesn't mean he's a cold, insensitive jerk all the time! He has his good moments, and while he might not be reliable or particularly comforting, he's fiercely devoted to those he cares about. Perhaps it is because he was raised in a single-parent home or because he was naturally brought up that way. Either way, he holds those he cares for quite dearly. While he may not express it verbally or even physically, once a person has found his or her way past the barrier he set up, it's without question that Ethan will remain by that person's side. As a friend or ally, Ethan will show nothing but loyalty and devotion. In terms of romance, however, Ethan is... well, uninterested. He doesn't quite believe in love, as he has experienced first hand as a child just how easily a relationship can be broken. He's repulsed by the idea of being romantically involved with someone, and if confessed to, he's most likely going to stare at the person with a perplexed expression.

history

Ethan was raised by his single mother for most of his life. He doesn't remember his father, although he heard that his father left him and his mother when Ethan was very young. He had shown telekinesis powers from a young age, but his mother forced him to suppress it, as it was yet another reminder of his father. Because of this, Ethan had grown up thinking that he was some sort of genetic mutation, and attempts to distance himself away from his natural abilities. He still does to this day. Aside from that, his life was pretty uneventful and he was raised by a loving, doting mother.
