Hayden is a rather introverted individual. He is shy, quiet, and mostly keeps to himself. He doesn't talk much, and his interactions with others are generally short-lived. However, he is still quite opinionated. He has strong beliefs about issues, but he just doesn't enjoy sharing these ideas with others. He is very intelligent and ambitious, and he exercises caution in everything he does. He sees the people in the world around him as inferior to him, and to him, everyone is simply mindlessly following the standards set by society until they prove themselves otherwise. He does care for his peers, but he lacks respect for them.

Hayden grew up in the heart of Sylveran, with a twin sister. School was a breeze for him, and he found all of it to be rather boring. Often he would question why the other children would find amusement in hopping over lines or chasing each other with their hands outstretched. There weren't many things that he found enjoyable other than reading in the confines of whatever quiet space he could find. What he found frightening were those who possessed uncanny powers and could use them to manipulate people. He soon recognized the threat that those people posed on the order of society, and at the age of 16, he joined the DoS, believing that those people needed to be eliminated.
